Eppie Award winning Ciara Gold tagged me. Her awesome novel A Nobel Sacrifice won the Eppie for best sci fi/fantasy romance and for good reason, it rocks!
I think I’m supposed to share 6 things about myself you might not know.
That’ll be challenging as I have 12 blogs and I tend to talk a lot.
1) Some little girls have puppies, some have kittens, I had a hive of bees. I used to tend them without any equipment (no gloves or hat) until I got stung in the eyelid (a twitch to the right and I would have lost my eye). Then my Mom made me suit up. I no longer have bees as the city folk don’t take too kindly to them.
2) I grew up without running water (well, excluding the river beside the house). We six kids used to share one tub of hot water once a week for bathing (no one liked being the last person in). We had an outhouse. To this day, I refuse to go camping. I’ve worked this hard to ensure I had indoor plumbing, thank you very much.
3) I do truly, truly love business. I can only write for about 3 months and then I HAVE to go back to corporate. I watch the business shows for fun. I have a serious portfolio my advisor helps me manage and a fun portfolio I play with.
4) I have five siblings (though one is deceased). Four have (had) beautiful red hair. I’m a brunette. I was told once when I was four that if I cut all my hair off, it would grow back red. So Miss Independent took a straight razor blade and cut all her hair off (down to the scalp). My mother took one look at what I was doing and fainted. I didn’t cut myself once.
5) I’m a loser and proud of it. I’ve had more failures than I’ve had successes and I credit that for my success. The hubby says I use the spaghetti method. I toss a plate of spaghetti at the wall and see what sticks.
6) I’m fully aware that anything I’ve achieved, I’ve achieved with the help of others. I don’t understand how some authors don’t have a thank you page. I could write a thousand books (giving Nora Roberts a run for her money) and still have people to thank.

Oh my. Those are definitely things I didn’t know about you. But amazing. I can’t believe you shaved off your hair! And I’ve always thought the Spaghetti Method worked just fine too
Take care, hope the corporate world is treating you well.
