Ginny Vs Fawn: Round 1

“You’re sure you’re okay with this?” Anne was having second, third and fourth thoughts about her plan, as they wandered down the residence hallway. It would solve Nancy’s problem but it felt so wrong.

“Relax, Annie.” Ginny laughed. “I’ve played these games for years. You may ignore the mean girls but me, I take them on. Someone has to and I love it.” She straightened.

“If you need to bail…”

Another laugh. “I won’t.”

Oh, to have Ginny’s confidence. Did it come with the beauty? Anne knocked on her own door, giving Fawn some notice, before swinging it open.

There was a toss of long blonde hair, a welcoming smile on a perfectly made up face. “Oh, its you.” That smile faded with Fawn realizing it was only her green haired freak of a roommate standing in the doorway. Then a double look. “You’re wearing makeup.”

“I am.” Even Ginny approved of the woodland fairy look Stanley had given Anne.

“A pathetic attempt at beauty?” A snort. “It didn’t work.  You’d need a lot more than some dollar store eye shadow to accomplish that.”

Ginny sucked in her breath. Anne felt her press against her. She held her back with a slender hand and took a couple hesitant steps inside. “We’re going out tonight.”

“We?” Interest.

“Ted, Nancy, Stanley, Patrick, myself, and…” She stepped aside. “My sister Ginny. Ginny, Fawn. Fawn, Ginny.”

The two gorgeous women stared at each other. Ginny’s face had a fascinatingly cold and haughty expression Anne had never before seen. She looked older, sophisticated, intimidating. A different person entirely. Even Fawn moved back.

“Sorry for the interruption.” Ginny didn’t sound sorry.

“Interruption?”

“From the looks of it, you weren’t expecting visitors.” There was a bored drawl to Ginny’s voice. Ice blue eyes flicked dismissively over the other blonde.
