Anne Gets A Room-Mate
Read about Nancy and Ted’s Romance Here.
Anne’s eyes flicked over her new room-mate. Pretty but not as pretty as Ginny or was that simply bias?
Anne darted a glance at Fawn again. Nope. There was something in the girl’s eyes that wasn’t in her sister’s. Meanness? No, that wasn’t it. Bitterness. Like despite being blessed with looks Anne could never hope to match, she wasn’t happy, would never be happy.
And now she’d be making Anne miserable too.
Blasted…
The only reason Anne agreed to this arrangement was because it had been Nancy asking. She didn’t care about a trouble making blonde getting burned out of her room, that was none of her business. She didn’t even care about Ted possibly getting tempted. If he did, he wasn’t right for her friend.

“It looks smaller because of the two beds,” Ted added. His arm was around Nancy’s waist. They looked good together, like a real couple now.
“A folding bed.” The blonde’s full mouth turned downwards in a pout. “I’m not sleeping on a folding bed.”
The folding bed had been begged off of the dorm mom. It was the best they could get. Ted knew his finicky so-called friend wouldn’t sleep on an air mattress.
“It has a real mattress on it.” The original mattress for the room. Anne didn’t want to think about how many bodies had slept on it.
Well manicured hands tested her own mattress. Anne’s eyes narrowed. What was Fawn doing?
“Then you have that one. I’m going to sleep on this bed.” And she plunked her butt down on it, bouncing a bit.
Anne caught Nancy’s eye. She was going to owe her big.
